When you’re not taking down buildings in Gotham City, you’re probably playing Fortnite. The game exploded in popularity last year, and now, fans are getting even more bang for their buck. Epic Games has announced another “Zero Point” edition of the game, which includes a Batman-themed Battle Pass along with a few other goodies. The book will be sold exclusively on Amazon for $20, while the Battle Pass will cost $14.99. The Battle Pass will be available for purchase on Tuesday, while the book will hit the shelves on September 7th.
In 2017, Warner Bros. released a hardcover book collection for their hit video game franchise “Batman: Arkham”. Two years later, they have gone back to the origin of the “Batman” series to tell a short story in a book that will tie in with the video game. “Batman: Zero Point” will be released on September 7, 2018.
Yup, you read that correctly. The upcoming Batman/Fortnite crossover has a special edition hardcover book. That’s right! It’s the kind of book that someone would order if they didn’t want to read it. It’s not a book you should want to read, but it’s a book you should not be able to get out of your hands. You will obsessively do everything you can to try to get your hands on this book. You will do everything you can to get the special in-game items that come with this book. You will tell everyone you know about this book and you will order it multiple times if you have to. By the time you’re done with this book, you’ll be a complete mess
The bizarre hybrid that no one saw coming will now be gathered in a deluxe hardback edition. On Tuesday, September 7th, Batman / Fortnite Zero Point will be released, with additional benefits for users’ Fortnite avatars. In Batman/Fortnite: Zero Point, written by Christos Gage and drawn by Reilly Brown, with idea and narrative input from Epic Games’ chief creative officer Donald Mustard, two pop cultural forces clash.
A strange fissure appears in the skies above Gotham City, threatening reality itself, in Batman/Fortnite: Zero Point. Batman, along with a few other well-known DC characters, gets drawn into it, waking up in the strange world of Fortnite with no memory and no option but to battle his way out.
All of the things from the single issue releases are included in the collected version, as well as the Armored Batman Zero Point Outfit, which was previously only available if you bought all six issues. The Batman/Fortnite Zero Point Hardcover Collected Edition includes the following items:
- Harley Quinn’s Rebirth Outfit
- Zero Wing Glider (Batman)
- Grappling Claw Pickaxe of Catwoman
- Glider Destroyer Deathstroke
- Bling from Harley Quinn’s Revenge

Last week, we spoke with the Batman team about the upcoming “Zero Point” tie-in book to the Fortnite Battle Royale game. The book will feature an original story by fan-favorite writer Scott Snyder, who also has a long history on the Batman books. Snyder, of course, wrote the epic “Zero Year” arc in Batman, which was one of the most critically acclaimed Batman stories of all time.
